Fish Out of Water Series: Inspired by a layover in Iceland, I walked along the cold harbour in Reykjavik, looking for inspiration on a new series of paintings. There is something beautiful about boat yards, seeing the underbellies of ocean going ships - I always wonder what creatures they've seen, the weathered crews who keep them afloat and the stories they can tell.
