Portraits Series: Inspired by a weekend hiking in the woods and then back at the studio, this portrait of friend Nat Vigneau combines the rigidity of a grid with the pulsating etherial nature of spray paint. Originally larger, the piece was cut down to its current size in 2016 in order to create a more symmetrical composition and focus directly on the subject.
