Portraits Series: Originally painted with a very different background (the whole panel was covered in intricate grids), this piece took on new meaning and new life in 2020. The VOTE motif, inspired by Robert Indiana's LOVE series, was a direct reaction to the political tumult of the presidential cycle. 

Nothing like a painting on the front porch to stir up some thought.
